എക്കാലവും കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിനെതിരെ ഇടതുപക്ഷം എന്നും ബി.ജെ.പി ബന്ധം ആരോപിച്ചിരുന്നു.എന്നാല്‍ ഇതിന്റെ നിജസ്ഥിതി എന്ത് എന്ന അന്വേഷണം നടത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് പുറത്ത് വരുന്നത്.ഭൂരിപക്ഷ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയതയും നൂതന പ്രത്യയ ശാസ്ത്രവും കൂടി ചേരുമ്പോള്‍ അത് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ കമ്മ്യൂണിസം ആയി മാറുന്നു. കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകളുമായി ജനസംഘവും ബി ജെ പിയും എന്നും രഹസ്യ സഖ്യത്തിലായിരുന്നുവെന്നുള്ള എല്‍ കെ അദ്വാനിയുടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തല്‍ സി പി എമ്മിന്റെ ചാരിത്ര്യശുദ്ധിക്കും രാഷ്ട്രീയസദാചാരത്തിനും എതിരെയുള്ള കുറ്റപത്രമായി വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
ദേശീയ ഹര്‍ത്താലില്‍ ഇരുപക്ഷവും കണ്ടെത്തിയ അടുപ്പവും ആലിംഗനവും പരസ്യമായി പ്രകടമായിരിക്കെ അദ്വാനിയുടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകള്‍ മിഥ്യയല്ല; സത്യമാണെന്ന്‌ ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയാണ്‌. കഴിഞ്ഞ പാര്‍ലമെന്റ്‌ സമ്മേളനക്കാലത്ത്‌ ബി ജെ പി ആസ്ഥാനത്ത്‌ എത്തി സി പി എം - സി പി ഐ നേതാക്കള്‍ സുഷമാസ്വരാജിന്റെ ആതിഥേയത്വം സ്വീകരിച്ചെന്ന വിവരങ്ങള്‍ കൂടി അദ്വാനി പുറത്ത് വിട്ടതോടെ ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ രാഷ്ട്രീയ അവിഹിത വേഴ്ചയുടെ കളങ്കപട്ടികയിലകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കയാണ്‌.
ദേശീയതലത്തില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിനെ തോല്‍പ്പിക്കാന്‍ ബി ജെ പി നയിക്കുന്ന ദേശീയ ജനാധിപത്യ സഖ്യത്തിനോ സി പി എം നയിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്‌ മുന്നണിക്കോ സാധിക്കില്ലെന്ന തിരിച്ചറിവില്‍ നിന്നാണ്‌ വിലക്കും അയിത്തവും മറന്നു സംഘ്പരിവാറും കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്‌ പരിവാറും അടുക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്‌. അവിഭക്ത ജനസംഘവുമായി 1977ലും ബി ജെ പിയുമായി 1989ലും പരസ്യമായി സഖ്യത്തിലായിരുന്ന ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ക്ക്‌ വര്‍ഗീയത ഒരിക്കലും അകറ്റി നിര്‍ത്തേണ്ട ആപത്തായി തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. സി പി എം നേതാക്കളേക്കാള്‍ ഒരടി മുമ്പില്‍ കയറി ബീഹാറിലും പഞ്ചാബിലും ജനസംഘവുമായി അധികാരം പങ്കിട്ട ചരിത്രമാണ്‌ സി പി ഐക്കുള്ളത്‌.
1994ല്‍ നരസിംഹറാവു സര്‍ക്കാരിനെയും 2008ല്‍ മന്‍മോഹന്‍സിംഗ്‌ സര്‍ക്കാരിനെയും പുറത്താക്കാനും ഇരുവിഭാഗവും കൈകോര്‍ത്ത കളങ്കിത ചരിത്രം വേറെയുമുണ്ട്‌. ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയത തിരിച്ചടി നേരിട്ടപ്പോള്‍ എന്നും താങ്ങായി നിന്ന ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികളോടുള്ള കടപ്പാട്‌ ബി ജെ പിക്ക്‌ മറക്കാനാവുന്നതല്ല. 1980ല്‍ കേവലം രണ്ടു സീറ്റുകളില്‍ ഒതുങ്ങിപ്പോയ ബി ജെ പിക്ക്‌ 89ലെ ലോക്സഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ 80ലേറെ സീറ്റുകള്‍ കരസ്ഥമാക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചത്‌ ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികളുടെ പിന്തുണകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വി പി സിംഗ്‌ സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ കാലത്ത്‌ വാരാന്ത്യ കൂടിയാലോചനകളിലും അത്താഴ വിരുന്നുകളിലും വേദികള്‍ പങ്കിട്ട ഇടത്‌-ബി ജെ പി പാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ ദേശീയമുന്നണിയുടെ പൊന്നോമന സയാമീസ്‌ ഇരട്ടകളായിരുന്നു.
വി പി സിംഗ്‌ നിലംപൊത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ ബി ജെ പിയുമായുണ്ടായത്‌ ഇടക്കാല പിണക്കമായിരുന്നു. ബി ജെ പിയുടെ വളര്‍ച്ചക്കെതിരെ കണ്ണടച്ച ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ക്ക്‌ എന്നും കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്റെ തകര്‍ച്ചയായിരുന്നു ആവശ്യം. ആദ്യം 13 ദിവസവും രണ്ടാമത്‌ 13 മാസവും പിന്നീട്‌ അഞ്ച്‌ വര്‍ഷവും ബി ജെ പി സഖ്യത്തിന്‌ കേന്ദ്രഭരണം കയ്യാളാന്‍ സാധിച്ചത്‌ സി പി എമ്മിന്റെ പരോക്ഷ സഹായത്താലായിരുന്നു. ഭിന്നചേരിയില്‍ നിന്നും പൊരുതുമ്പോഴും അസാധാരണങ്ങളായ ഒരു മാനസിക ഐക്യം കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികളും ബി ജെ പിയും തമ്മിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ബാബറി മസ്ജിദിന്റെ തകര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്കും ഗുജറാത്തിലെ വംശീയഹത്യക്കും ഹിന്ദുത്വ ശക്തികളെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുമ്പോഴും പിന്‍വാതില്‍ തുറന്നുള്ള രഹസ്യസംഗമം ഇരുപാര്‍ട്ടികളും നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നാണ്‌ അദ്വാനിയുടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്‌.
മതനിരപേക്ഷയുടെ നെടുനീളന്‍ വാചകമടിക്കിടയിലും ഇടത്പാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ സംഘ്പരിവാറുമായി ജാര സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലായിരുന്നുവെന്ന സത്യങ്ങള്‍ സി പി എമ്മിന്റെ കപട മതേതരവാദങ്ങളുടെ മുഖമൂടി പിച്ചി ചീന്തുകയാണ്‌.
ഇടക്കാലത്ത്‌ ദേശീയതലത്തില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍ നിന്നകന്നുപോയ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗത്തെ വലയിലാക്കി വോട്ടുബലം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങളായിരുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു ദശാബ്ദങ്ങളായി സി പി എം പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നു പോന്നത്‌.
കോണ്‍ഗ്രസുമായി അകന്നു പോയവര്‍ അടുത്ത്‌ തുടങ്ങിയെന്ന്‌ യു പിയും മറ്റു ഇതര സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളും തെളിയിച്ചതാണ്‌. വീണ്ടും ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയതയുടെ കൂടെ പോവാന്‍ സി പി എമ്മിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌.
ഇടക്കാലത്ത്‌ ദേശീയതലത്തില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍ നിന്നകന്നുപോയ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗത്തെ വലയിലാക്കി വോട്ടുബലം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങളായിരുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു ദശാബ്ദങ്ങളായി സി പി എം പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നു പോന്നത്‌.
കോണ്‍ഗ്രസുമായി അകന്നു പോയവര്‍ അടുത്ത്‌ തുടങ്ങിയെന്ന്‌ യു പിയും മറ്റു ഇതര സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളും തെളിയിച്ചതാണ്‌. വീണ്ടും ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയതയുടെ കൂടെ പോവാന്‍ സി പി എമ്മിനെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌.
പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളില്‍ സി പി എമ്മിന്റെ പരമ്പരാഗത വിജയത്തിന്‌ തുണയായി നിന്ന ന്യൂനപക്ഷ-ദളിത്‌ വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ണമായും അവരെ കൈയൊഴിഞ്ഞു. നന്ദിഗ്രാമിലെയും സിംഗൂരിലെയും മനുഷ്യവേട്ടയായിരുന്നു ഈ പിന്നാക്ക വിഭാഗങ്ങളെ സി പി എമ്മിനെതിരെ തിരിച്ചു വിട്ടത്‌. പരസ്യമായ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിരോധവും രഹസ്യമായ ഭൂരിപക്ഷ പ്രീണനവും വഴി ബി ജെപിക്ക്‌ സ്വീകാര്യമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിലപാടുകള്‍ക്ക്‌ സി പി എം കേരളത്തിലും തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌. മതനിരപക്ഷ കക്ഷികള്‍ എന്നും അകലത്തില്‍ നിര്‍ത്തിയ ജമാഅത്തെ ഇസ്ലാമിയുടെ സഹവര്‍ത്തിത്വം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാനും അവരെ ആക്ഷേപിക്കാനുമുള്ള പുതിയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചുവട്‌ മാറ്റം സംഘ്പരിവാറിനെ പ്രീണിപ്പിക്കാനായിരുന്നു.
1987ലെ നിയമസഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ വിലക്കപ്പെട്ട കുവൈത്തികളുടെ കേരള സന്ദര്‍ശനവും മുക്രിപെന്‍ഷനും ഉയര്‍ത്തിക്കാട്ടി ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയതയെ ഉത്തേജിപ്പിച്ചത്‌ പോലെ കേരളത്തിലും ബംഗാളിലും മാത്രമല്ല; ദേശീയ തലത്തിലും ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ കാവി മാതൃക സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ പോവുകയാണ്‌. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ വോട്ട് മറിക്കുന്നത്‌ കച്ചവടമല്ല; അടവ്‌ നയമാണെന്ന ബി ജെ പി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന്‍ മുരളീധരന്റെ പ്രസ്താവന ഭ്രൂണരൂപത്തിലുള്ള കാവി-ചുവപ്പ്‌ സഖ്യത്തെ സ്കാന്‍ ചെയ്തു കാണിക്കുന്നു.സി പി എമ്മിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ തകര്‍ച്ചകാലത്ത്‌ അതിന്റെ ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി സ്ഥാനം വഹിക്കുന്ന പ്രകാശ്‌ കാരാട്ട്‌ എന്നും ബി ജെ പി നേതൃത്വത്തിനും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവനാണ്‌. സുഷ്മസ്വരാജ്‌, അരുണ്‍ ജയ്റ്റ്ലി തുടങ്ങിയ ബി ജെ പിയുടെ പുതിയ മുഖങ്ങളുടെ സൗഹൃദവലയത്തിലായിരുന്നു എന്നും കാരാട്ട്‌. യു പി എ സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‌ രൂപം കൊടുക്കാന്‍ ഹര്‍കിഷന്‍ സിംഗ്‌ സുര്‍ജിത്‌ വഹിച്ച പങ്കായിരുന്നു അത് നിഗ്രഹിക്കാന്‍ കാരാട്ട്‌ വഹിച്ചത്‌.
ബി ജെ പിയുടെ കോടാലികൈ ആയി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച കാരാട്ടിന്റെ ഒരേയൊരു പിടിവാശിയായിരുന്നു യു പി എ സര്‍ക്കാരിനുള്ള പിന്തുണ പിന്‍വലിക്കുക എന്നത്‌. അപക്വമായ ഈ നടപടി സി പി എമ്മിന്റെ മാത്രമല്ല; ഇടത്‌ പാര്‍ട്ടികളുടെ തന്നെ സര്‍വ്വനാശത്തിന്‌ കാരണമായി. തലയില്‍ കാവി ലഹരി കയറിയ കാരാട്ടിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഇപ്പോള്‍ താമര കുമ്പിളിലാണ്‌ തുടിക്കുന്നത്‌. 2004ലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്‌ കുടത്തിലുടച്ച ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയതയെ കുടം തകര്‍ത്തു പുറത്ത് വിടാനാണ്‌ കാരാട്ടും കൂട്ടരും ഇപ്പോള്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്‌.
